Spirit

Millions of men have lived to fight, build palaces and boundaries, shape destinies and societies; but the compelling force of all times has been the force of originality and creation profoundly affecting the roots of human spirit.”

Ansel Adams

The human spirit is definitely an extraordinary thing. Depending on how the human mind wants to control it and if properly lead by the heart, true miracles can take place. Since my journey with paralysis, I have witnessed people from all walks of life go through some type of catastrophic event or situation and lose themselves completely due to the struggle. Their inner light will dim or fade, allowing the spirit to be defeated because of how they perceive their situation. It is known that life’s predicaments are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow powerful by conflict. It is up to us as humans to make that choice and go down a positive path, understand our lessons, release all fears and allow our spirit to carry us through effortlessly with tenacity, grace and patience. The human body may eventually have limitations but the human spirit is boundless beyond measures. It is an unbelievable weapon that many true warriors are gifted with and we must always remember when we positively tap into this profound intangible essence that is within us, greatness will eventually follow.
